04. Tight or Loose Alignment?
Your Way or The Highway

Should cascading goals follow a strict adherence from one level to the next? Or is it ok that goals are loosely supported?We will answer the question with a question. Why not use both? First, and most importantly, the software should not limit you.For instance, if the organizational team above one of your teams might decide that one of their Key Results should be handled by a sub-team. If so, a goal will be automatically created as a Tight Goal and handled in this Sub-team.Alternatively, the sub-team can also create a new goal linked to a goal in the parent team for a Loose Alignment, or event to a Strategic Goal if that is an even better match.
